(AMIA) the Arab Marine
Industries Association was founded in the year 2000
to bring together the Main Players of the Marine Industry
throughout the Arab World and to promote the activities
of its Members both Regionally and Internationally.
The Association has already more than
50 members including: Manufacturers, Exclusive Dealers
for Boats and Accessories, Charter & Brokerage Agents,
Marina Operators and Service Providers for the Marine
Industry, etc…
AMIA is a non-profit organization, with the Main Objectives
of Addressing the needs of the Arab Marine Industry
by providing its members with:
· Organizing Annual Marine Industry related Conferences
and Seminars.
· Information on International Standards Certification
.
· Representation and Global Exposure in International
Marine Events.
· Marketing Support.
· Consumer awareness on Marine Safety Regulations.
· Periodical information about the progress of
the Marine Business in the Middle East, New Projects,
Customs Duties and Registration Procedures etc...
2007/2008 NEWS
AMIA is working on publishing:
• An up-to date Survey on the Rules and Regulations
for the Leisure Boating in the Arab World
• A Comprehensive Marinas’ Guide for the
Middle East in English and Arabic
Both Surveys will be posted in AMIA’s website
by June 2007
